MARCH 4, 2022 - Prior to partnering with Debrena Jackson Gandy to develop the Masterminds Unlimited 8-Week Black Business Cohort, I collaborated with her on the Direct Dollars Grant Initiative, an effort focused on providing direct financial support to Black-owned small businesses.During this initiative, we appeared on Converge Media's Feel Good Friday, hosted by Trae Holiday, where we discussed the importance of increasing access to capital for Black entrepreneurs and highlighted the impact that direct grant funding can have on strengthening local businesses and communities.The conversation emphasized reducing barriers to economic opportunity, empowering business owners with financial resources, and creating sustainable pathways for wealth creation within underserved communities. This collaboration helped lay the foundation for our later partnership in developing the Masterminds Unlimited Black Business Cohort, combining business education, mentorship, and access to capital to help entrepreneurs grow and scale their businesses.graph here
